School Workshop: AQA Geography Fieldwork

A workshop specially designed to allow students studying AQA GCSE Geography to complete one of their compulsory fieldwork days in a tropical Rainforest.

Workshop overview

Your students carry out an investigation at the Eden Project which fulfils the criteria for one of the compulsory fieldwork days required to complete the new AQA GCSE Geography specification. The investigation will cover both physical and human elements.

The question the students will be investigating is:

To what extent does the Rainforest Biome at the Eden Project tourist attraction simulate conditions in a real tropical Rainforest?

Throughout the workshop the students complete a fieldwork booklet which can then be used back at school in preparation for the AQA Paper 3 exam.
