Arts and culture at Eden

As a major cultural venue, we're home to a spectacular series of summer music concerts – the Eden Sessions – and we're also a hub for the visual arts in Cornwall. We present permanent installations and temporary exhibitions by new, emerging and established artists with reputations spanning the globe. We also host a wide range of performance events and regular storytelling sessions.

Music at Eden

The Eden Sessions are a series of live music concerts held annually at Eden. Our beautiful site with its natural acoustics draws world-class artists to give amazing performances that many regard as among their best.

Through the Eden Sessions, the Eden Project hopes to encourage concert audiences to think about how they can reduce their impact on the environment.

Art at Eden

Works from a diversity of grass-root and world-renowned national and international artists can be discovered across our 35-acre site in the Outdoor Gardens, Biomes and Outer Estate.

These broad-ranging installations are inspired by social and environmental narratives such as climate change, biodiversity and the vital relationship between global communities and natural resources.

Pollinator Pathmaker

Dr Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg has created this outdoor installation that explores the story of the UK’s indigenous pollinators.

This huge breathing sculpture by Studio Swine pays homage to one of the world's smallest living beings.

First Came the Landscape

Ingela Ihrman's giant wooden sculpture is made from a beech tree that was blown down during Storm Eunice in 2022.

Seed

This enormous granite sculpture by Peter Randall-Page sits in a specially designed chamber at the heart of our Core building .

This living sculpture made from clay by Peter and Sue Hill reclines in our Myth and Folklore Garden.

Aziza Gate

These carvings by El Anatsui started life as trees in West Africa and can now be found beneath our Rainforest Canopy Walkway.

You can find this Bacchanalian artwork by Tim Shaw among the grapevines in our Mediterranean Biome.

Cloud Chamber

The spectacular Cloud Chamber by Chris Drury can be found nestled in our Wild Cornwall exhibit in our Outdoor Gardens.

Spirits of the Rainforest

These murals by traditional Peruvian herbalists Don Francisco Montes Shuna and Yolanda Panduro Baneo show their visions of the spirits of medicinal plants.

Cores

Created by local ceramic artist Jenny Beavan, these sculptures are made from a mix of clays and are impressed with plants from Eden.
